Lola Prusac is born

Born as Leontyna Prussak, Lola Prusac was born on January 18, 1895 in Łódź, Poland. At the time, textile production was quite substantial in Łódź. Growing up, Lola learned to work with many different textiles which would prove to be a dominant influence in her career.

Lola Prusac is founded 

Lola leaves Hermès and opens her own fashion house at 93 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.

First fragrance is released

In 1958, Lola comes out with her first fragrance, named Sega, packaged in an aluminum bottle with a cork top.

Jewels & Perfumes

This ad featured a model showcasing Lola Prusac's fashion jewelry alongside the release of her newest scent, Grant de Crin.

Lola moves to Paris

Lola and her two sisters leave Poland and settle in Paris, France. Here, Lola completed her education at Sorbonne and the École du Louvre.

Full page magazine ad

In the early 1940s, Lola showcases her pieces in a full page ad in a Hungarian magazine. The collection includes a blouse, sweater, scarf, belt, gloves and clutch.

Tricot satchel arrives

In 1965, Lola comes out with a frame satchel made of tricot and leather. The tricot material is hand stitched with a bold pattern that is still incorporated today.

1978

Lola awarded the Golden Needle

In 1978, Lola Prusac receives the aiguille d'or (golden needle), a French award to honor talented fashion designers.

Lola works at Hermès

In 1926, Lola is hired by Hermès, where she designs their first clothing collection for women. Lola's knowledge of textiles and colors play a significant role in her designs. Lola works here for the next 10 years, creating clothing, silk squares and handbags.

Fashion week

In 1948, Lola Prusac begins creating her own fashion shows, including appearing in the Paris Haute Couture Week.
